I was raised in a very health-conscious family. My mom and dad both have a passion for health and cooking so this heavily influenced my passions and ultimately my career! I was in a way, raised in the kitchen and loved helping my family make meals from scratch.
Thus, this swayed my decision to study nutrition in college! I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Nutrition with a minor in psychology from Point Loma Nazarene University. I wanted to continue my education in nutrition in a more holistic direction so I decided to become a nutritional therapy practitioner (NTP).
As an NTP, I am trained to address and assess issues like digestive balancing, blood sugar regulation, optimizing adrenal function, helping my clients customize a nutrient dense diet that nourishes them, herbal supplement protocols and more. An NTP personally helped me with eczema, brain fog, and overall well being. Thus, this drove my passion to help others improve their health in the same way I did!
In my free time, you can catch me trying out and experimenting with new ancestral recipes, doing Pilates or yoga and spending time in the sun!
