I have a Bachelor's in Nutrition and Food and am incredibly passionate about helping others become happy and healthy in a way that feels best for them. I want to help others optimize their health so they can live a full life with the ones they love and create a life they love.
I am currently in the process of getting my personal training certification and I hope to help people find ways to nourish and move their body in a way that feels best for them. For fun I love to go on walks, blast music and sing and dance in the kitchen, read, go to coffee with friends, work out, really anything outside! I love the sun and could be outside all day.
A funny little nutrition story, its a good one: My dad is your typical manly man. I’m talking burgers, steak, and hot dogs while watching football, and now…he’s completely plant based! I moved home last May when Covid happened and naturally started cooking more for my parents. Through cooking for him, as well as educating him on the benefits of adding more nutrients and plant diversity into his diet he has completely changed his mindset and view on food and nutrition. He is the healthiest he has been in years and it’s so funny because when I used to talk about nutrition to him he would always brush it off.
Once he started to notice benefits in his overall mood, digestion, mental clarity, and sleep he was sold. Anything is possible people!! I never thought my dad would want to change the way he ate and moved his body, but he did! All his friends know he doesn't really consume any animal products and will even buy plant based burgers for him when they all get together. Some of his friends have even started to incorporate more of a plant based, nutrient dense diet into their own life.
